Yo, I’m Brice and I like to make cool things when I get the chance. Past or current explorations have been this lengthy list… hand embroidery 🪡 ; digital embroidery 🧵; designed and co-sold an autonomous postcard business; Instagram hashtag webscrapper; emailing every college for a fee waiver; launched a social initiative; social media art business; branding business; achieving Damascus in Call of Duty; created a “song” 🎧 ; learned and “did-not” brute force hacking; researched happiness ☮️; researching Aiptasia; creating a math game; created a personal brand; running a personal business 📦; explored engineering through USC; and probably something else.
I try to live life to the fullest and explore every avenue possible through these three philosophies.
1) Think it. Do it.
For the last nine months, I have tried to take on any ideas I have thought of doing, almost like “Carpe Diem.” Moreover, it was spurred from hearing that people say I talk about ideas but never act on this. Above all, I agree; therefore, I started living by this motto of “Think it. Do it.” In conclusion, so much can be gained from the simple act of “doing.”
2) Smile. 😊
After doing research on happiness and reading numerous self-help books, smiling is so good for you. For instance, not only do you personally feel better and are more productive, but the world smiles back. In other words, good things happen to individuals who are optimistic and feel good to be around; thus, if you smile you’ll attract people and opportunities.
2) Don’t Stress.
Stress is incredibly bad for the body. I agree that certain types of stress are good for you; however, stressing over assignments is not worth it. The significance of the assignment in the long term does not warrant the stress you place on it. For me, this means I put myself in a mental position where I do not stress, either through preparation and or confidence.
